On September 20, 2025, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated – Epsilon Alpha Zeta Zeta Chapter proudly joined the 2025 NAMIWalks in Hall County. The event took place at Rock Creek Veterans Park in Gainesville, Georgia, bringing together community members, organizations, and advocates for an important cause: mental health awareness.
NAMIWalks, hosted by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), is more than just a walk. It is a celebration of community, advocacy, and hope. Each year, participants walk together to raise awareness, fight stigma, and show support for individuals and families affected by mental illness.
This year, Epsilon Alpha Zeta Zeta Chapter was honored to contribute to the movement by raising over $400 in support of mental health initiatives. These funds will help NAMI continue its mission of education, advocacy, and providing resources to those in need.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the many supporters and donors who helped make this possible. Your contributions not only supported our fundraising efforts but also amplified the message that mental health matters.
We would also like to highlight the dedication of Soror Charndrea Leonard, whose commitment and passion greatly contributed to the chapter’s success in this year’s walk. Her leadership embodies the spirit of service that Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, represents.
Epsilon Alpha Zeta Zeta Chapter is proud to stand alongside NAMI and other community partners in advocating for mental wellness. Together, we can continue to create a culture of support, compassion, and empowerment.
